10.3. Service growth status
RubiCRM provides 5 default Service Growth Status options to get you started.
These are:
- Prospecting
- Lead
- Proposal
- Follow Up
- Conversion / Close
These default statuses can be updated to suit your business processes, or you can create additional custom statuses as required.
Rubi System Admins can manage Service Growth Status options by navigating to:
Main Menu → System → Lists → Service Growth Status
For more information on system lists, please navigate to the related article.
Default Starting Status
When a new Service Growth item is created, the default status will automatically be set to Prospecting.
If you would like to use a different starting status, we recommend amending the existing Prospecting status rather than creating a new starting option. This helps maintain a clean and consistent workflow order.
Managing Status Order
You can control the order in which Service Growth Status options appear by selecting the Amend icon () against each status within the system list.
Each status must be assigned a sequential order number, starting from 0 and continuing through the total number of statuses in your list.
For example:
| Status | Order |
|---|---|
| Prospecting | 0 |
| Lead | 1 |
| Proposal | 2 |
| Follow Up | 3 |
| Conversion / Close | 4 |
Win and Loss Statuses
Using the Amend option (), you can also define whether a Service Growth Status should be treated as:
- A successful/won status
- A failed/lost status
When a Service Growth item is moved into one of these statuses, the relevant date field will automatically populate:
- Won statuses update the Date Converted
- Lost statuses update the Date Lost
