10.2. Service growth items
Service Growth item types can be managed from:
Main Menu → System → Lists → Service Growth Types
From here, you can create new Service Growth Types or amend existing ones to match the services your business offers.
Service Growth Type Options
When creating or editing a Service Growth Type, you can configure the following settings:
Name
The name of the service or opportunity type displayed throughout the Service Growth Centre.
Default Amount
The default value assigned to new Service Growth items created using this type.
This amount can still be:
- amended during item creation, or
- updated later as the opportunity progresses through the sales process.
Service Growth Centre Colour Code
The hexadecimal colour code used to display the Service Growth Type within the Service Growth Centre.
Colour coding helps users quickly identify and distinguish between different service types within the pipeline.
Creating a Service Growth Item
New Service Growth items can be created from either:
Searching and Filtering
The Service Growth Centre includes several tools to help users quickly locate items.
You can search using:
- the search bar,
- the Service Type filter, or
- the Assigned To filter.
The Assigned To filter is based on the Sales Rep assigned to the Service Growth item.
Anticipated Amount Totals
Each stage within the Service Growth Centre displays an Anticipated Amount total at the bottom of the funnel.
This value automatically accumulates the Amount of all Service Growth items currently within that stage, helping users forecast potential revenue across the sales pipeline.
Managing the Sales Funnel
Service Growth items can be moved between stages using drag-and-drop functionality as they progress through the sales process.
This provides a simple visual workflow for managing opportunities from initial prospecting through to completion.
Actioned Items
When a Service Growth item is moved into a status configured as a successful/won stage, an additional Actioned checkbox becomes available.
This checkbox can be used once the opportunity has been internally processed, for example:
- creating a sales pipeline,
- making a booking,
- raising an invoice, or
- completing any required internal follow-up actions.
Once the Actioned checkbox is selected, the Service Growth item will be removed from the active Service Growth Centre view. Don't worry, you can still locate these items within the Primary Record's Service Growth page.
