5.4. Merge contacts

Your RubiCRM allows you to merge contacts using the Advanced Search tool.

After running a search, select any two contacts using the checkboxes, then click Merge in the top-right corner of the results grid.

When selecting two contacts, the first contact you click becomes the contact you want to keep (Merge To). The second contact becomes the one that will be deactivated (Merge From) after the merge.

 

If you select only one contact, a pop-up will prompt you to choose the contact you want to Merge To.

 

Next, you’ll see a pop-up where you can choose which fields from the Merge From contact to retain. Any sections or fields you tick will replace the information in the Merge To contact. Unticked fields will remain as they are in the Merge To contact.

 

Once you confirm and click Submit, the contacts will be merged.

The Merge From contact will be deactivated once the merge is complete.
