9.6. Add savings to event/training bookings

Savings will only be displayed in value statements for event and training bookings where a value has been entered in the Saving field for the selected Price Type.

For example, this applies to a “Member” rate Price Type that includes a defined saving value.

Please note that savings are applied at the time the booking is created, based on the Price Type selected at that point.

If you update the Saving value in a Price Type after a booking has already been created, this change will not be reflected in existing bookings. It will only apply to bookings created after the update.

It is important to set the appropriate Saving when you create the Price Type.
